At last a taste from the upcoming album "Livet, Kärleken, Döden - La Vie, L'Amour, La Mort" (Life, Love, Death) which will be released later this fall. An album inspired by the French entertainer and storyteller. Peter Jöback embarks on a new story with passion and love, the story of Life, Love and Death...

Peter Jöback calls the album his "French" project and performs the French classics with great love in a new light with new relevance for our time in our country. One would think that Frank Sinatra's "My Way" is an original - but it's not... The song is French and the original title is "Comme d'habitude". Peter found the French classic, and asked one of our most celebrated Swedish songwriters, Andreas Mattsson, to write Swedish lyrics from the French original. Peter's Swedish reinterpretation is titled "Precis som vanligt" (Just as usual). On August 16, 2011 "‹"‹Peter performed the song for the first time on the Swedish National Television "Allsång på Skansen" together with the Swedish Radio Symphonics. The album's collection of songs emerged from an intensive sifting and is a passionate collection of new interpretations that are inspired by the French entertainer and storyteller. The album also includes three new songs written in the French spirit. All of this in a stunning collaboration with well respected Swedish songwriters Andreas Mattsson and Annika Norlin. One of Sweden's most high profile arrangers and conductors, Hans Ek, sat down with Peter and producer Paul Svenre and together they picked out a band consisting of 18 musicians, Hans created new arrangements, and in June "Livet, Kärleken, Döden - La Vie, L'Amour, La Mort" was recorded in Swedish.
